The adventure is not only a physical feat, but a spiritual journey bringing one closer to the stars: The shining beacons of hope, light, magic uniting ALL under one sky.� The Stargazer series is a gentle reminder that the ascent is not meant to be easy, but patience, dedication + perseverance will be the impetus. If one is present, the stars will be a guide at their patterns shift along the journey. I love building the stargazer collection. The alloy decides the texture it wants to be and comes to life in its own pattern. It’s always so cool to be able to make a clients vision come to life. This project happened over time… as all good things do 😉 Irene came to me with items she had previously commissioned another goldsmith to to build. They used the gold her father had given her, but the pieces didn’t suit her frame and style, but the gold had sentimental value. Insert Urban Alchemy many years later and we were able to transform this gold into classic pieces she can treasure + wear for always ✨ It was such an honour to work with Irene - she is a wonderfully kind person. I am so grateful to be able to transform these heirloom pieces into wearable treasures. Metal alchemy 🧙 From ONE bracelet and ONE pair of earrings we were able to create - a custom name paperclip link bracelet - 2 pairs of teardrop earrings - a pair of studs - a pair of studs with pearls - a pair of hoops AND - 3 rings!!! The premise + idea behind the event has been brewing in the back of our minds for years and we finally brought this vision of creating a collective of strong, passionate, female business owners to life!
