This series was created with that simple truth in mind. Each piece is hand-carved into recycled precious metals, echoing the natural patterns that reflect the seasons we move through. These rings symbolize the moments that shape us: the challenges, the rest, and the strength built along the way. Wear this talisman as a grounding reminder to honour where you’ve been and trust where you’re going.
Growth is not rushed - it’s lived, gently and steadily, in your own time. This new series has developed just like the rings themselves; slowly, quietly and gently over time. They are pieces that often find homes as soon as I made them and I oddly have no finished photos of many that I’ve created! Just me in my imperfect studio prepping metal (wit Just me in my imperfect studio prepping metal (with my own two hands) for my upcoming workshop on a MANUAL rolling mill (with an unfortunate squeak that I never realized until now) thinking about how many hours I wasted this morning trying to decipher if what I was seeing was AI generated or actually real?! What an interesting (or other words) time we are living in when we are being given so much information that we now have to decode, decipher and interpret. Just another extreme on the pendulum.
